Cryotherapy Chamber Supplier — UK (Electric & Nitrogen)
A UK supplier of whole-body cryotherapy — both electric and nitrogen — plus local cryotherapy, with delivery, professional installation and staff training. One partner, from survey to service.
If you are specifying cryotherapy for a clinic, gym, spa or performance facility, the first decision is electric or nitrogen — and most UK suppliers only offer one. Helix supplies both whole-body cryotherapy types under one roof, alongside local cryotherapy, so the recommendation you get is based on your space, throughput and running costs rather than on whatever a single supplier happens to stock. We deliver, install and train your team, and we are there afterwards for service.
The range
Three families cover the full spectrum, from a single targeted treatment head to a walk-in whole-body chamber. Every system links through to full specifications.
Electric whole-body (no nitrogen)
Cryo Q ONE
True electric cold to a perceived −110°C. No nitrogen, simpler and safer to run, with no gas supply to manage.
Cryo Hybrid
Electric whole-body chamber built for all-day commercial use, with a clean install and straightforward operation.
Nitrogen whole-body & partial-body
Cryo Total
Nitrogen whole-body chamber delivering the intense, short, dramatic cold experience many clients ask for by name.
Activ Cryo V2
Nitrogen partial-body cryosauna — a compact footprint for facilities adding cryotherapy without a dedicated room.
Local cryotherapy
Cryo Flow Mini
Compact targeted cryotherapy for treatment rooms and physio benches, ideal as a bookable add-on service.
Cryo Flow
Targeted local cryotherapy for focused recovery work, easy for staff to run between appointments.
Cryo Local Polar Bear
Nitrogen local cryotherapy for precise, high-intensity targeted treatment of specific areas.
Electric vs nitrogen — which is right for your facility
Both deliver genuine whole-body cold; they differ in how they get there and in what they ask of your team and your building. Electric chambers use refrigeration rather than liquid nitrogen, so there is no gas to store, pipe or monitor, running is typically simpler and oxygen-monitoring requirements are reduced — a good fit where you want a lower-supervision, lower-complexity station. Nitrogen systems reach their temperature very quickly and give the short, sharp, theatrical experience that many clients know and request, but they rely on a nitrogen supply and the handling and monitoring that comes with it.
Which suits you depends on your space, throughput, staffing and how hands-on you want the operation to be. We will walk you through the trade-offs honestly against your site rather than push one type. You can also compare systems side by side on spec, running cost and evidence.

The science, honestly
We set out what whole-body and local cryotherapy actually do for recovery and wellness — and where the evidence is stronger or weaker than the marketing suggests — in our guide to the science of cryotherapy. It is the same honesty we bring to a quote: the right system for your clients and your numbers.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply electric and nitrogen cryotherapy chambers?
Yes. Helix supplies both electric (no-nitrogen) and nitrogen whole-body cryotherapy, plus local cryotherapy systems. Most UK suppliers offer one or the other; we offer both, so we can recommend the right type for your space and how you plan to run it.
How much does a cryotherapy chamber cost?
It varies by type and specification. Our range spans compact local cryotherapy units through to walk-in whole-body chambers, electric and nitrogen, so the right figure depends on which system suits your facility and how it will be used. Tell us about your space and throughput and we will put together a tailored quote, including finance options.
Do you install the chamber and train our staff?
Yes. Most systems are delivered and installed by us, not dropped on a pallet. We survey the space, confirm power, ventilation, drainage and access, install the equipment properly, and train your team to run sessions safely and confidently before you open to clients.
Electric vs nitrogen — which is better?
Neither is universally better; they suit different facilities. Electric chambers avoid a nitrogen supply and are generally simpler and lower-supervision to run. Nitrogen systems reach temperature very quickly and give the short, intense experience many clients ask for. We will talk you through the trade-offs against your site, or you can compare them side by side first.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes. We supply, deliver, install and support cryotherapy systems across the UK, and into Europe. You deal with one team throughout, from the first enquiry to aftercare and service.
